Alvarez-Ryder in May at the stadium in London?

Eddie Hearn said that in May, a fight between the undisputed super middleweight champion could take place at one of the football stadiums in London Saul Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) and John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs).

On Saturday, the Briton won the temporary WBO belt in the weight category up to 76 kg. Thus, Ryder became the mandatory challenger for Canelo, who is the full world champion of the World Boxing Organization.

“I immediately wrote to Eddie Reynoso that Ryder is the official challenger for Alvarez and we should have this fight. I'm thinking about a tournament at the Emirates Stadium. I think this is a very likely scenario for Saul Alvarez,” said Hearn.

Canelo recently reported that the rehabilitation of his right hand is proceeding without complications. The Mexican is going to return to the ring in May, and in September he plans to have a rematch with Dmitry Bivol.
