Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub gave a prediction for the fight between Alex Pereira and Khamzat Chimaev.
“Khamzat will beat the shit out of him. Chimaev will wipe the floor for them. Again, I'm not taking anything away from Alex, but it's about confrontations and styles. And this is a total nightmare for him. The UFC won't do that because it would discredit Adesanya's entire resume. If Izzy never gets a fourth fight with Pereira and a second under MMA rules, then Alex will fight and lose. They need him to fight Izzy or I promise you you'll never hear from him again."
Recall that on Sunday, Pereira became the UFC middleweight champion, beating Israel Adesanya ahead of schedule.
