Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2, 22 KOs) not afraid of crushing power Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), which he may have to face in the final WBC heavyweight eliminator.

"I think I can take his punch, but I'm not saying Wilder hits weak," the Mexican Destroyer told Boxing Social. - I'm going to go to my distance and hit my combinations. I'll be fast, I'll be explosive, and if I hit him with my right hand, he'll go down!"

“I expected Wilder to be easy with Helenius because he was his sparring partner so he knew exactly what to do in the ring,” added Ruiz, commenting on the spectacular comeback of the Bronze Bomber.

The fight between Wilder and Ruiz was recently announced by the WBC at its congress. So far, there is no 100% certainty that the duel will take place, but it is very likely.
