More than 17 years after winning his first championship title Ricky Hatton (45-3, 32 KOs) returned to his favorite arena in Manchester. Yesterday, another legend collided with the Briton - Marco Antonio Barrera (67-7, 44 KOs).

The Hitman and the Baby Face Killer returned to the ring yesterday for eight two-minute demo rounds. They were both having a great time, and Hatton, in particular, revealed that he's been spending a lot of time in the gym lately. Immediately after the battle, the Briton did not hide his emotions, enjoying a wonderful evening.

ā€œI got everything I wanted and even more. I was wondering how it would turn out, because Marco and I are friends, but we are also proud people, and in a hot atmosphere and with a large crowd, emotions were seething. It was great, we had fun, we had everything we wanted, ā€Hatton said after the fight.

ā€œI did a lot of good things in boxing - the evening with Kostya Tszyu, when I won the world title, the fight in Las Vegas, where my fans came to support me. Tonight will also be one of my best memories,ā€ said the former IBF and WBA super lightweight champion, as well as the WBA welterweight champion.
