Alimkhanuly beats Bentley on points

Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (13-0, 8 KOs) won by unanimous decision over Denzel Bentley (17-2-1, 14 KOs) in the main event of the Top Rank evening in Las Vegas and defended his WBO middleweight title.

After twelve rounds, the judges gave the victory to the boxer from Kazakhstan with a score of 118-110 and twice 116-112. Thus, Alimkhanuly defended the title of the World Boxing Organization for the first time in a fight with a tough and uncompromising Briton, which was especially difficult for him in the second half, and turned out to be harder than expected.

As part of the same evening, Senez Estrada (23-0, 9 KOs) defended the WBA championship belt, defeating Jasmine Gala Villarino (6-2-2, 1 KOs) on points. After ten rounds, all the judges gave the victory to the 30-year-old American with a score of 100-90.
