Gvozdyk changed his mind about Bivol's chances in the fight with Beterbiev

Famous Ukrainian light heavyweight Alexander Gvozdyk commented on the victory of the WBA champion in his weight Dmitry Bivol above Gilberto Ramirez, and also assessed the chances of the Russian in a potential fight with the holder of the WBO, IBF and WBC titles Artur Beterbiev.

According to Gvozdyk, he used to consider Beterbiev the favorite of this confrontation, but now he gives the boxers equal chances.

“The fight with Ramirez was good, but Bivol was just better. He outboxed, declassed, reworked Zurdo.

Bivol vs Beterbiev is also an interesting fight. At first I thought that Arthur would win, but now I think that, perhaps, the chances are 50/50. It all depends on the form of Beterbiev. He has certain injuries. The outcome depends on this. I think that the best Beterbiev would probably have won, but I don’t know what form he is in now,” Gvozdyk said in an interview with the ESNEWS YouTube channel.

Recall that on November 5, Bivol defeated Ramirez by unanimous decision (118-110, 117-111, 117-111).
