Tishchenko-Perez fight will be rescheduled

The fight for the belt of the WBC international champion in the first heavy weight between Evgeny Tishchenko (10-1, 7 KOs) and Mike Perez (27-3-1, 18 KOs), scheduled for November 19, has been rescheduled for next year. The postponement of the date is associated with health problems of the Cuban.

Perez, 36, last fought in March when he won the WBA Intercontinental title by technical knockout against Vasile Dukar. Last year, the Cuban returned to the ring after a three-year break.

Tishchenko is regaining his positions after last year's defeat from Tabiso Mchunu. The 31-year-old Olympic champion of Rio de Janeiro had his last professional fight in July.
