Poirier explained the importance of the fight with Chandler

Dustin Poirier spoke about the importance of the upcoming fight with Michael Chandler for him.

“This is a huge fight in my career. First of all, I have never lost twice in a row since I was an amateur. I want to prove to myself that I learn from mistakes, as well as to my family, fans, my daughter, that after we fall, we can rise and reach the top. So this fight is very important. It's important for me to beat a guy who was once a champion and add his name to my resume and legacy."

Poirier vs Chandler will take place on November 12 at UFC 281.
