Anthony Joshua

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua ready to face the toughest challenges next year. In August, Joshua suffered a second consecutive loss to WBO, IBF and WBA champion Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was originally ...

Several names are mentioned for Joshua's next fight, including Otto Wallin, Dillian Whyte and Filip Hrgovic. According to the Briton himself, he sees no problem meeting with any of these three.

Wallin gave Fury one of the toughest fights of his career in 2019. White lost by knockout to Joshua in 2015. The two have a history of rivalry that goes back to their amateur days. And Hrgovic, an undefeated puncher, came close to big fights.

“Yes, I am ready to fight Otto. Yes, I'm ready to fight Dillian. I'm ready to fight Hrgovic. I like to fight the best opponents of my era,” Joshua said in an interview with DAZN.

“Because in boxing there has always been this stigma about choosing convenient opponents. In boxing, if you want to get to the top, you have to take risks. It should be a calculated risk, but you definitely have to take risks. And I just like taking risks. What makes you a good fighter is not how popular you are, but how good a fighter you are."

“Competing with the best and training with the best has always helped me improve. So yes, I'm ready to fight Wallin. Like I said, they may not be the most popular guys on social media, but they are tough fighters."

"I'm not going to sit and tell you, 'No, it's rubbish.' I give them the credit they deserve and I will never underestimate anyone I enter the ring with. Here's how to think. Each of us is a serious contender. And it will help me raise my level of boxing,” added Joshua.
