Whittaker doesn't think Makhachev will be easy with Volkanovski

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker spoke out about a potential fight between Alex Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev.

“Volkanovski is a great fighter who is very well built. Alex's skills are at a very high level. He is a strong guy. I think that Alex will be able to control the flow of the fight with his punches, and his strength and stamina, which is also at a high level, will help to avoid trouble. I don't think it will be easy for Islam to break him as everyone expects."

Recall that Makhachev is the UFC lightweight champion, and Volkanovski is a featherweight champion.
