Kambosos: “I gave everything I could. I'm very proud of myself"

Former Australian Lightweight World Champion George Kambosos Jr. (20-2, 10 KOs) commented on his defeat in revenge with the absolute world champion American Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs).

“I gave everything I could. I am very proud of myself. This guy is a damn good fighter. Haney is one of the top five fighters, regardless of the weight category. His skills and movements are top notch. He can move up to light welterweight and dominate there for a long time. I am very modest in my assessment, because I spent 24 rounds with him.

I feel like I did a much better fight with Haney this time compared to the first fight. We both had to adapt. I still have a few big fights in the future, ”said the Australian.
