Taylor-Carabajal officially October 29

Officially confirmed information that Katie Taylor (21-0, 6 KOs) will have his next professional fight on October 29 at the Matchroom Boxing evening at Wembley Arena in London. The Irishwoman will defend her IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC lightweight titles against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal (19-0, 2 KOs), who is the official contender for one of her belts.

In her last appearance, Taylor won a split decision over Amanda Serrano. A potential revenge with the world champion in seven weight categories is only possible next year. For Karabahal, this will be the first chance in her career to become a world champion.

On the same evening, European featherweight champion Jordan Gill (27-1-1, 8 KOs) will face former world champion Kiko Martinez (43-11-2, 30 KOs). 28-year-old Gill fought his last fight in February, defeating Karim Gerfi ahead of schedule. For Martinez, it will be a return to the ring after losing to Josh Warrington in March.
