Jackson wants to try his hand at boxing

Former UFC bantamweight champion Quinton Jackson said he has not yet put an end to his fighting career.

"No, I'm not done yet. I'm not satisfied with my last performance, and I can't leave my fans with that. I want to leave the sport on a major note.

I'm in negotiations with Shannon Briggs, our fight has been in the works for a year. I want to try my hand at boxing before I end my career. I could do MMA, but I prefer to box. I'm 44 years old and my knees hurt from fighting, and when you fight MMA, a lot of people want to move you," Jackson told TMZ.

Recall that Jackson had his last fight in December 2019, losing by TKO to Fedor Emelianenko.
