Ngannou loses million dollar deal due to UFC

Francis Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion, has announced that he lost a major $1 million deal due to the promotion's policy on his personal sponsorship deals.

“The fighters were deprived of sponsorship income. This is a huge source of money for us, but the company continues to use this opportunity only in its own interests. I understand that sports are good in uniform, but we should be allowed to at least advertise at least two approved sponsors in the octagon. Last year I lost over $1M in a deal due to the UFC deal with Crypto. What did I get from this? Inflation is on the rise,” Ngannou wrote on social media.

Recall that at the moment Ngannou is recovering from an injury and the timing of his return to the octagon is unknown.
