Cormier wants to see Ferguson vs Hooker

Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Daniel Cormier believes that promotion matchmakers should organize a fight between Tony Ferguson and Dan Hooker.

“Now I want Tony Ferguson to fight guys like Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje and others.

And I also wouldn't want to see Dan Hooker fighting top fighters. So let them fight each other. It's like Joe Lauzon vs Donald Cerrone," Cormier told the DC & RC podcast.

Recall that Ferguson and Hooker are not going through the best periods in their careers. The American is on a four-fight losing streak while the New Zealander has lost four in his last five fights.
