Hrgovic-Zhiley officially on August 20

Qualifying match for the IBF world heavyweight title between Filip Hrgovic (14-0, 12 KOs) and Zhang Zhilei (23-0-1, 18 KOs), originally scheduled for May, is officially confirmed for August 20 in Saudi Arabia. Horvath withdrew from the original date of the fight due to poor mental health following the death of his father.

Matchroom Boxing also confirmed that a qualifying bout for the WBC light heavyweight title between Callum Smith (28-1, 20 KOs) and Mathieu Boderlik (21-1, 12 KOs) will take place on the same evening. The winner will be the mandatory opponent for Artur Beterbiev.

Tyrone Spong (14-0, 13 KOs) will play another professional fight as part of the August event, but his opponent is still unknown. Former world champion Badu Jack (26-3-3, 16 KOs) will return to the ring in Saudi Arabia, and his opponent will be Richard Rivera (21-0, 16 KOs).

The main event of this gala will be a rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk for three heavyweight championship belts.
