Usman moves up to light heavyweight

Current UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman announced that he would switch to light heavyweight after the fight with Leon Edwards.

“Now we are completely focused on Leon Edwards, but after that we are focused on light heavyweight, and whether it is Jiri Prochaska, Jan Blachowicz, or someone else, this is what we want,” the champion said.

Recall that Usman vs. Edwards will take place on August 20 and headline the UFC 278 tournament.
