Javier Mendez, Former Khabib Coach and AKA Gym Head Coach, Shares His Opinion on UFC's Top Welterweight Khamzat Chimaev. In particular, the specialist noted that the difficult fight between Chimaev and Gilbert Burns did not affect his attitude towards Khamzat in any way.

“My attitude towards Khamzat Chimaev has not changed. But I think people's perception of Gilbert Burns has changed. They give him credit, as Gilbert's two big failures, if you can call them that, were fights with champion Kamaru Usman and Khamzat. As for Khamzat... He is a warrior, went to war and won the battle. And it will only get better,” Mendes said.

We will remind, earlier it became known that Nate Diaz or Colby Covington could become the next rival of Chimaev.
