October 22 or 29 at an evening in London Anthony Yard (22-2, 21 KOs) will fight the WBC, WBO and IBF world light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs). The Briton is the official contender for the belt of the World Boxing Organization.

Yesterday in New York, Beterbiev defeated Joe Smith Jr. by TKO in the second round. Yard, 30, watched the fight from the front row.

The last time the Briton boxed was in December. The London boxer knocked out Lyndon Arthur in the fourth round, taking revenge for his defeat twelve months ago.
