Former World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) will face Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 KOs) not earlier than September. The fight was originally scheduled for July 2 in London, but it had to be postponed due to the absence of New Zealander Andy Lee in the team.
Parker's coach will soon become a father and will not be ready to fully devote himself to training. Meanwhile, Joyce can fight another opponent. This fight could take place as early as June.
The Briton won against Carlos Takam in his last appearance in the ring. The last time Parker boxed was in December, winning for the second time on points against Derek Chisora.
