The fees of the participants of Saturday fights in California

The California State Athletic Commission announced the fees of boxers who competed at the evenings organized last Saturday. Three major boxing tournaments took place in California last weekend. In the most important of them Jermell Charlo knocked out Brian Castagno, unifying all major junior middleweight titles. The American earned a million dollars for his performance, while the Argentinean's salary was half a million.

On the same evening in the IBF welterweight eliminator, Jaron Ennis beat Custio Clayton ahead of schedule, earning $400,000 for it. The Canadian who lost for the first time in a professional ring received 100,000.

On Saturday, former world light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev also returned to the ring, earning $500,000 for his debut in the light heavyweight division. The fee of his rival Tervel Pulev was 195 thousand dollars.

Gilberto Ramirez earned a million dollars for his performance, in which he beat Dominique Bözel ahead of schedule ($100,000). The fight was a WBA light heavyweight eliminator.
