Kovalev and Pulev met the weight

Tervel Pulev (16-0, 13 KOs) and Sergey Kovalev (34-4-1, 29 KOs) met at the official weigh-in ceremony in Inglewood. This will be the official debut of the Russian in the first heavyweight division. Kovalev's weight was 89.1 kg, Pulev - 89.6 kg.

On the same evening, former contender for the world heavyweight title Kubrat Pulev will face American Jerry Forrest. For the Bulgarian, this will be the first official boxing match since the loss of Anthony Joshua.
