Authoritative American coach Teddy Atlas admits that the current WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury can be called the best British heavyweight in history, but refuses to include him in the top 5 heavyweight fighters of all time.

“I don’t think he can be put in the top 5 heavyweights in history. Make him the best British heavyweight, no problem. Yes, Lennox Lewis was an amazing boxer, but, of course, he has defeats. I think Fury would be the best British heavyweight.

Fury is undefeated, but let him fight Usyk and then I will start thinking about him. Not that he's the greatest fighter of all time, but then I'll start thinking that maybe he should be allowed to get into the top 5.

When we talk about the greatest heavyweights of all time, we mean Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Jack Johnson and so on. Then we have Larry Holmes and many others. God, Joe Frazier and Mike Tyson," Atlas said on his podcast.
