American journalist Mike Coppinger reported on the results of PPV sales. Nearly 40,000 people watched the fight live. Profits from pay-per-view and ticket sales exceeded $20 million.
In his next fight, Spence could face Terence Crawford, whose last fight was also shown in the USA on PPV. Crawford's November duel with Sean Porter sold 190,000 PPV.
