Taylor-Puello fight scheduled for April 22

The WBA has set April 22 as the bidding date for a world super lightweight title bout between Josh Taylor (19-0, 13 KOs) and Alberto Puello (20-0, 10 KOs).

The minimum bet amount is $200,000. The money fund is to be divided 55/45 in favor of the Scot.

However, the chances of such a duel are slim. Taylor, after a recent fight with Jack Catterall, said he was going to move to welterweight, but has not yet officially left his belts in the 63.5 kg weight category vacant.
