Saul Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) plans three fights this year. One of them should be the September duel with Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs), and although the conditions for this meeting have already been determined, both boxers will have one more fight before that.

Canelo crosses gloves with Dmitry Bivol in early May, and GGG will meet with Ryota Murata next Saturday. In the event of a defeat or injury to a boxer from Kazakhstan, the Mexican boxer will look for another opponent. Then Alvarez can cross gloves with Artur Beterbiev.

In June, the Russian will fight with Joe Smith Jr. for three light heavyweight championship belts. His potential fight with Canelo could be a fight for the title of undisputed world champion in the 79-kilogram weight class.
