Alvarez: Bivol is number two in the light heavyweight division

On May 7, at the boxing evening in Las Vegas, the leader of the P4P rating Saul Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) will fight the WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (19-0, 11 KOs).

“I love the idea of coming back to the light heavyweight division and fighting against the number two in this division,” said Canelo, who already had a 79 kg WBO belt, which he received thanks to the victory over Sergey Kovalev.

Bivol is the world champion. For me, this is the beginning of a new story. He is a really strong champion,” the Mexican praised his future opponent.
