Martin beat Felix on points
Sandor Martin (40-2, 13 KOs) unanimously won Jose Felix (39-6-1, 30 KOs) as part of a boxing evening from Matchroom Boxing in Barcelona. After ten rounds, the judges gave the victory to the Spaniard with a score of 99-91 and twice 100-90.
At stake in the meeting was the belt of the international WBA super lightweight champion. For Martin, who was better than his opponent in every aspect of boxing prowess, this was the first fight since the sensational victory over Mikey Garcia last year.
As part of the same evening, he also returned to the ring Richards Bolotniks (19-6-1, 8 KOs), who defeated Hrvoe Sepa (11-1, 8 KOs) on points. After eight rounds, the judges gave the victory to the Latvian with a score of 77-75 and twice 78-75.
