Diaz asks to be fired from UFC

Star American mixed martial artist Nate Diaz turned to the UFC with a call to release him from the contract.

“I would like to ask to be fired from the UFC. I apologize for asking this online. If you don't give me a fight soon, I have other things to do," Diaz tweeted.

Diaz, 36, has not appeared in the Octagon since last June, when he lost on points to Leon Edwards.
