The son of Hall of Famer Kostya Tszyu arrived in the US from his native Australia last Saturday to finish a training camp in Las Vegas before heading to Minneapolis.

“We have already hosted several camps here in Las Vegas, so we are familiar with the area. It's not far to Minneapolis from here, but it's much warmer here in Las Vegas, so I'm glad I came here first. It was difficult to adjust to the time difference, but I definitely got into the rhythm already. By the time I arrived in Las Vegas, all the foundations had already been laid,” Tszyu said.

In the upcoming fight on March 26, Tszyu hopes to get one step closer to the title fight.

"I'm going to fight, and I'm going to win. I'm not here to spank. If this requires a knockout, I will strive for it. I'm not here to jab someone and win on points. From the first second the fight starts, my goal is to knock him out. Every second of every round, I will be in front of my opponent,” Tszyu promised.

“I have been going to this for a long time. I have really wanted to make my US debut ever since I defeated Jeff Horn [in August 2020]. It's nice to finally be here, and I'm very happy to speak on such a TV channel. This is a real opportunity for me."

“It will be an interesting fight. I am very interested to see what he is going to show in the ring. Gouchet has all the tools to win. He has excellent skills, fast hands and a large arsenal of punches. He is very good at simple things. I love these styles. I've sparred with these guys in the US and I love this style of fighting. I don't look particularly big or strong, but when I enter the ring, I tend to dominate, I kind of say: "This is my ring, you are in my territory." I immediately declare my superiority to everyone, ”added Tszyu.
