Rocha-Cobbs will be the main fight of the evening in Los Angeles

Promotional organization Golden Boy Promotions confirmed that despite health problems Virgil Ortiz, Saturday night of boxing in Los Angeles will take place. Its main event will now be a welterweight bout between Alexis Rocha (18-1, 12 KOs) and Blair Cobbs (15-0-1, 10 KOs).

Ortiz's place in the battle map was taken by Jesus Antonio Perez (24-3, 18 KOs). The 24-year-old boxer from Mexico will now face Michael Mackinson (21-0, 2 KOs).

Bektemir Melikuziev (8-1, 6 KOs) will also return to the ring in California. In the second fight after last year's defeat from Gabriel Rosado, the Uzbek will meet with David Zegarra (34-7, 21 KOs). Ramla Ali (4-0, 0 KOs) will play her fifth professional fight against the more experienced Shelley Barnett (5-6, 2 KOs).
