Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Daniel Cormier commented on Tai Tuivasa's desire to fight Stipe Miocic.

“I support Tuivasa in trying to get such a fight, but I don’t think it will take place. It may sound disrespectful since Ty is my friend, but Stipe has done enough in the sport to guarantee himself some fights.

If you want to talk about Jones-Miocic, Ngannou-Miocic fights, then they make sense. However, I don't think Stipe is at the point in his career where he should be promoting other fighters," Cormier told DC & RC.

Recall that Tuivasa is on a series of five victories. The Australian last fought on February 12 at UFC 271, defeating Derrick Lewis by TKO.
