Terms of the third fight of Saul Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) with Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs) are agreed. This was reported by Lance Pugmire of USA Today. The fight will take place on September 17 in the United States, presumably in Las Vegas.

Before that, both boxers will have one fight each. On May 7, Canelo will face WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol, and GGG will cross gloves with Ryota Murata in Japan on April 9 for the IBF and WBA middleweight belts.

The first fight between Alvarez and Golovkin took place in September 2017 and ended in a draw. In the rematch, which took place a year later, the Mexican won on points. On the results of both fights discussions are still ongoing among boxing fans.
