Velasquez arrested after participating in shootout

According to NBC Bay Area, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon on the Monterey Highway. One man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the second was arrested.

Velasquez, 39, announced his retirement in October 2019.
