Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping admitted that he would not be surprised if American lightweight Bobby Green manages to get a sensational victory in the upcoming fight with Islam Makhachev.
“Bobby took the fight on a week's notice and is not under any pressure. He saves the day, earns a fee, and possibly becomes the number one contender in the division. You can call me a fool, but I believe that he will have a standing advantage. He is a rather slippery fighter, he has a good fight.
I'm not saying that Green will win, but this is a very competitive fight. I won't be shocked if Bobby wins," Bisping said on his YouTube channel.
The Makhachev-Greene fight will take place on the night of February 27 as part of the UFC Fight Night 202 show in Las Vegas. Initially, the Russian's opponent was supposed to be Beneil Dariush, but the American withdrew from the fight due to an injury.
