Kell Brook wants to put an end to his long-standing feud with Amir Khan and knock out his compatriot on the upcoming Saturday. Brook would be happy to record a spectacular and brutal knockout that British boxing fans will never forget. Canelo Alvarez's devastating knockout over Khan comes to Brook's mind every time he imagines how their fight in Manchester could end.

“I want a sensational knockout,” Brook said in an interview with BoxingScene.com. “I would like to knock him out like Canelo. We don't get paid overtime on this game and I'll obviously aim to finish this show as soon as possible."

Khan moved up from welterweight to middleweight for a fight against Alvarez in May 2016. It was an ambitious jump in weight for a two-division champion, but Khan did not last six rounds against Alvarez, then the WBC world middleweight champion. The 2004 Olympic silver medalist led one of the judges' notes, 48-47, but was behind the other two, 49-46 and 48-47, when Álvarez landed a right hand that sent Khan unconscious to the floor.

“I am preparing for the best Amir Khan,” Brook said. - I trained in such a way that I am ready to meet anything in the ring. I can adapt if I need to adapt. I replay over and over in my mind how this fight will play out. In the ring, sometimes things don't go the way you plan, the way you think your opponent will fight. But, you know, I have everything to win. I prepared for a tough 12 rounds, I'm 100% ready. I don't care what he shows me in the ring, because I have an answer for everything."
