Eddie Hearn reveals he is in talks for a heavyweight bout between Luis Ortiz (33-2, 28 KOs) and Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs). Earlier, Hearn stated that Chisora could very well get a fight with former world champion Deontay Wilder and that he could win this fight if the fight lasted longer than four rounds.

“It was just a passing comment where I said that if the fight had gone four or five rounds, I think he would have beaten Wilder,” Hearn explained. “But at the same time, this is a very dangerous fight. There was some talk about Chisora vs Luis Ortiz and his guys and I love that fight."

“Chisora vs [Chris] Arreola. Chisora vs Zhang Zhilei. He has never had bad fights and he wants to fight. He wants the biggest fights and we will try to find him one,” Hearn added.

In January, Ortiz defeated Charles Martin in the IBF semi-finals ahead of schedule. However, he later refused to fight Filip Hrgovic for mandatory challenger status. Chisora suffered his third loss in a row in December, losing on points to Joseph Parker in a rematch.
