George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs) confirmed that he would fight his next professional fight in May in Australia and named two boxers among the possible candidates. The unified world lightweight champion will take on Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) or Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs).
In recent weeks, there have been proposals to organize a fight with Kambosos in one of the countries of the Middle East, but the Australian was not interested in such a proposal. The name of the nearest rival of the 28-year-old athlete must be officially confirmed before the end of February.
A fighter from Australia, after last year's victory over Teofimo Lopez, became the owner of the WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC franchise titles. Haney is a full-fledged WBC world champion, and Lomachenko currently has no belts.
