Derek Chisora (32-12, 23 KOs) consecutively demands a fight against Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs), former WBC world heavyweight champion.
His coach Dave Caldwell does not advise his ward to enter the ring against the Bronze Bomber, but no one can impose anything on Derek. He follows his own desires and he has set his sights on the American puncher.
“Some dissuade me from such a duel, others persuade me, but still everything depends only on me. I make a decision and say yes to Wilder. I assume that if the fight is good, I accept it. It's a good setup, that's why I want to fight Wilder. I am different from most boxers in that I love challenges,” said Chisora, former European heavyweight champion and WBC belt contender.
Both have had a black streak lately, and the winner from such a possible meeting would return to the game. Chisora lost three fights in a row on points - to Oleksandr Usyk and twice to Joseph Parker, and Wilder lost twice to Tyson Fury ahead of schedule.
