Dana White explains why he didn't reward Ngannou after winning UFC 270

UFC President Dana White explains why he didn't step into the octagon to award Francis Ngannou after his victory over Cyril Gan in the main event of UFC 270.

“I didn't attend the main event. I left the arena right after the end of the co-main fight of the evening. All because something happened and I needed to deal with it. If some idiots think that I showed disrespect to Ngannou, this is nonsense. I saw him all week before the fight, I said hello to him, we shook hands. I was at the sterdowns, ”White is quoted by journalist Laura Sankoh as saying.

The fight between Ngannou and Gan took place on January 23 as part of the main event of UFC 270, ending with Ngannou's victory by unanimous decision.
