The famous Russian veteran of mixed martial arts, the winner of the UFC 6 tournament Oleg Taktarov was severely beaten in Mexico. Journalist Alexander Lyutyukov reported this on his Telegram channel.

The reason for the conflict was that Taktarov stood up for a girl who had a conflict with the security of a local hotel.

“I asked you not to terrorize people, make all claims against me. Let them go home. He was hit on the back of the head, I think, with a baseball bat. Internal hematoma. Ten people jumped on me. I woke up from the fact that I was suffocating, I had a T-shirt on my nose, I wanted to breathe, they beat me. One jumped in handcuffs, the handcuffs were fastened behind his back. Some kind of fishing line pulled my legs together. For 30-40 minutes I lay without moving, but they continued to beat me. Some kind of supermafia structure.

When the police arrived, I breathed a sigh of relief. I realized that I would survive, because every second I thought that I would die. There was not enough air. It turned out that it was the federal police, they treated me quite professionally,” Taktarov said.
