Ortiz-Hrgovic for the right to meet Usyk?

Luis Ortiz (33-2, 28 KOs) and Filip Hrgovic (14-0, 12 KOs) to be nominated shortly by the final qualifier for the IBF World Heavyweight Championship. Alexander Usyk is currently the champion of the International Boxing Federation.

The 29-year-old Hrgovic has long awaited an opponent for the IBF eliminator. Ortiz defeated Charles Martin early yesterday at an evening in Hollywood, returning to the ring after more than a year hiatus.

The Croat has fought two battles this year. The last time he boxed was in early December, defeating Emir Akhmatovic by technical knockout. The last boxer to compete for the IBF heavyweight title as an official challenger was Kubrat Pulev.
