Khabib: "In 2022, Eagle FC will host 7-8 tournaments in Miami"

Former UFC Lightweight Champion and Head of Promotion for Eagle FC Khabib Nurmagomedov talked about his league plans for next year.

“To be honest, now Eagle FC is no different from other similar organizations. We are only at the beginning of the journey. Let's change a couple of weight categories - 165, 175. Let's change the system a little. Not the rules, but the system. And we'll see. We are at the beginning of the journey, and next year, at the end of January, there will be a big show. I look forward to this event.

"I became the owner of Eagle FC exactly one year ago. And so we are doing 43 shows around the world. The 44th will be at the end of January. I want to change a couple of things. One of the main things is that I want Eagle FC to be a worldwide promotion. That is why we are opening our headquarters here. We will continue to host events around the world, but the headquarters will be here in Miami.

"Next year we will have 7-8 shows here. I'm not talking about other shows around the world - in Russia, the countries of the former USSR. There will be 7-8 shows here in Miami. This is the plan for next year. And in 2023, we will probably do a couple of shows every month. I will not talk about the distant future, but next year will be very big for us. I can't wait to hold the first show here - Kharitonov - Spong. These are some of the coolest strikers of our time, guys with good experience in MMA, kickboxing, boxing. It will be a great fight," Khabib said at a press conference.
