Lomachenko defeats Commey on points

Former world champion in three weight classes Vasyl Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) scored a convincing unanimous decision victory over the former world champion Richard Commey (30-4, 27 KOs) in the main event of saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. The scores were: 117-110 and twice 119-108. According to the results of the fight, Lomachenko tried on the title of WBO intercontinental champion

In the seventh round, Commey was knocked down hard after a precise left hook to the jaw, but was able to get up and continue the fight, remaining dangerous until the final bell.

According to the organizers, the attendance of the fight was 8,555 spectators.
