UFC President Dana White said he is not interested in a third fight between the champion of the promotion in two weight classes Amanda Nunes and flyweight title holder Valentina Shevchenko.

“I've thought about it a lot. They are both incredible in their divisions. Amanda and Valentina have already fought two battles, why do it again? I do not see the point in this," White said.

On the night of Dec 12 at UFC 269, Nunez will defend the bantamweight belt against Julianne Peña.

Shevchenko and Nunes had two fights, in which the Brazilian took the upper hand. Amanda won the first fight by unanimous decision, the second - by split decision.
