Former coach of Klitschko names the favorite of Usyk-Canelo fight

Sergei Gorodnichev, former member of the coaching staff of Wladimir Klitschko, believes the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk would be the favorite in a potential fight against the undisputed world champion in the super middleweight division Saul Alvarez.

“This battle is in the distant, cosmic future. If it takes place, then, of course, Usyk will have more chances than Canelo. There will be a very difficult fight, but Alexander will have more chances, because Canelo will have to gain weight, he will lose speed.

"Still looking at what weight the fight will take place. Maybe they are boxing in bridgerweight. To fight at cruiserweight, Canelo needs to gain weight. To box there Usyk needs to lose weight. There are tens of kilograms - for someone like Canelo it will be very sensitive.
