Katie Taylor vs Firuza Sharipova on December 11 in Liverpool

Firuza Sharipova (14-1, 8 KOs) will act as an opponent for Katie Taylor (19-0, 6 KOs) at Matchroom Boxing on December 11 in Liverpool. At stake there will be  IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC lightweight championship titles. The 27-year-old boxer from Kazakhstan is the official contender for one of Taylor's belts. This will be Taylor's third performance this year.

At the main event of the evening in Liverpool Conor Benn (19-0, 12 KOs) will face former world super lightweight champion Chris Algieri (25-3, 9 KOs). Benn defeated Adrian Granados in his last appearance in the ring. Algieri returned to the ring in August after a two-year hiatus, beating Mikkel LesPierre on points.
