Claressa Shields (11-0, 2 KOs) signed the most expensive contract in women's professional boxing history. The American has signed an agreement worth more than a million dollars with the British promotional group BOXXER.
The undisputed world champion in the junior middleweight division will have her first fight under a new contract on December 11 at an evening in Birmingham. Her rival during her debut in front of the British public will be Ema Kozin (21-0-1, 11 KO).
Savannah Marshall (11-0, 9 KO) will also perform on the same evening and she's going to cross gloves with Shields next year. The British is the only one who has ever won a boxing match with an American. This meeting took place at an Olympic boxing competition.
