Zurdo's form will test a good opponent for a fight: Cuban "Monster" Yunieski Gonzalez (21-3, 17 KOs). At stake in the bout will be the status of WBA mandatory title challenger. Thus, the bout is scheduled for twelve rounds. Recall that at light heavyweight Dmitry Bivol (18-0, 11 KOs) is on the World Boxing Association throne.

Also that night, Senace Estrada (21-0, 8 KOs) will defend his WBA world title against Maria Santiso (9-0, 5 KOs) and Lamont Roach Jr. (21-1-1, 9 KOs) will face Rene Alvarado (32-10, 21 KOs).

"Too bad Bivol didn't want to fight me right away, but that's boxing. Gonzalez is a tough Cuban and I should be in great shape. The most important thing for me is that when I beat him, Bivol won't be able to run from me anymore," stated "Zurdo" Ramirez.
