MMA fighter Zhamaldayev detained on suspicion of drug trafficking

MMA fighter Salman Zhamaldayev of Russia nicknamed "Zloty" was detained by police at Vnukovo airport. According to the telegram channel 112, during a search of the fighter they found some kind of drug in his possession. The fighter was planning to fly to Grozny, but was removed from his flight.

Zhamaldayev has been active in the ASA league for a long time. He was the ASA flyweight champion. His record includes victories over Diego Brandao, Marat Balayev, Felipe Froes and others.
